Project 2: Job Application Documents

For our second project, we submitted our most recent job résumé as well as a letter of introduction, a list of references, and a follow-up letter to a simulated workplace we were interested in applying to.

I truly had no idea how outdated my résumé was. I enjoyed setting up the format of it, as well as changing the job description to showing what we accomplished. This involved eliminating first-person sentences such as "I worked with..." and rewriting them to read, "Worked with..." to make the sentence more impactful.  Additionally, I had never worked/sent an introduction or follow-up letter, so it was interesting to learn about this aspect of job hunting.
